Further Information on Complaints
Ubumi aims to maintain high standards and accountability in our work. We are always striving for improvement, and we welcome any complaints, feedback, or comments.
Who Can Submit a Complaint?
Ubumi’s complaints process is open to everyone, including employees, partners, members, volunteers, and our target groups. Complaints can be submitted here and will be received by the Executive Director. If you prefer the Executive Director not to receive your complaint, it can be sent directly to the Chairperson or Vice-Chairperson of the Board.
However, we encourage that comments and complaints regarding our work are raised and discussed with the responsible staff as close to the activity as possible.
Can I Report Anonymously?
You may choose to report anonymously, but we encourage you to include your name and contact details so we can reach out if needed during the processing of your inquiry.
Ubumi ensures confidentiality and anonymity to the greatest extent possible when handling inquiries. If you want to remain anonymous, make sure not to include any personal information or other details that could identify you.
Sensitive Complaints
A sensitive complaint typically involves allegations or suspicions of financial misuse, criminal matters, sexual exploitation, or violations of Ubumi’s guidelines, safeguarding policy, Code of Conduct, or similar.
Sensitive complaints are always handled confidentially, and only individuals who need to know about the complaint are involved.
