Where I come from God works for us
the shoes wouldn’t and I know he will open doors for us
 survive
I once opened the wrong door
The shoes are more than shoes I fell in love
When I see how my parents live at first sight
I see it is not easy for them and moved in with a man
They are trying their best but he just drank alcohol
but my pink shoes did thaj bhang
like a reflection in a mirror had sex with me
they show me what my parents’ life is like left me without food
 I shouldn’t live the same
                                    My life was miserable
I dream of going to college people on drugs
it would make my life perfect don’t care about tomorrow
it would help me about food
 and them too about anything
 That is my dream
 an education I left
 a nice job
                                    I don’t have a child
I love travelling and don’t want one for now
I go to museums Men today
to the Animals Orphanage they sleep with you
to see new things you get pregnant
my shoes carry me there they leave you
I take good care of myself
I worked hard for my shoes
I went from door to door I want to study more
to the people who are rich so I can have a good life
I did their washing I want to study
I mowed their grass I dream of luxury
until my hands were all blisters
I had to have money for my shoes My pink shoes are
but also for my family luxurious

I went to the market I wish to have money and build a big house for my parents.
 and bought the shoes
I wish to open an orphanage
I tell myself and help care for the kids,
I must work to help my parents whose parents can’t afford school fees.
and my siblings must go to school
and I won’t give up I wish to open a big hotel and employ workers.
I wish to travel abroad and see how nature is there.
