His nose is small, very small
his ears are too small
my fingers so big
my baby is too small
he is too short
and too long
My baby is my favourite thing
because God gave him
to me
I love my baby

He was sick
when born
into hospital
but the doctors made him better

I loved to sing and dance
I got pregnant
I told the man but he
denied, and my father
chased me away

I cried a lot
but God gave me a boy child
he is healthy
and I love him
I wish my family
was back together
I wish I could study, make life better
I wish my boy to study hard, take good care
I wish I could have my parents together
I wish I could have a job
to help me when trouble
comes for me

I wish my life will be better
than the past
I wish my baby’s life
will be better
I will make it so
I love my baby
