I have a pedometer
It’s special
to me
It has no smell,
it’s smooth
black in colour

I had it for my birthday
from my husband
to start my health fitness journey

it should work for 10 years
but I put on weight
and my blood pressure was
too high
The doctors said
The implant must go

I had an ectopic pregnancy
the doctors
told me; no IUD
start exercising to
stay healthy
and so my fitness health journey began
